Money Tip- Monday: Challenge & Free Printable!

My husband and I finished taking a Crown Financial class this last fall & I have to say, it was one of the BEST studies I have ever done! The Bible has a lot to say about money and how we earn it, save it, give it, and spend it.  Every financial decision we make is a spiritual one.  Where we spend our money shows where our heart is. I learned so many things about money in the Bible that I didn't know were there before.  One of the things I learned was that 2 Thess 3:10 says, “Whoever doesn’t want to work shouldn’t be allowed to eat.” Yes! That is why I can't just sit and do nothing! I was created to work! And why do I feel so good after my work is finished? Because I accomplished something good that God designed me to do! It was an investment to enroll in the Crown Financial class, but it was well worth it for the lifetime of knowledge! I highly recommend going to www.crown.org  to check for classes in your area.

I am including a challenge for this week. Use this week to start keeping track of your expenses. Start saving all of your receipts (I put ours in a glass jar on the counter so that I could see them) and you will be able to track where your money is actually going. Here is a free printable from Crown to keep track of your expenses for the month.

CHALLENGE #1: Start saving every receipt. Leave a post or comment and let me know how it's going.

I will be covering a new topic each Monday on money & I hope you will join me.
